REPORT: Ballot boxes distributed ahead of Sunday’s polls

The distribution of the ballot boxes to polling stations heads kicked off early on Saturday morning under an official supervision.

The distribution was carried out based on a mechanism set by the Interior Ministry enabling the polling stations heads to receive the boxes without any delay.

This as later in the day, the Interior Ministry issued a statement in which it said that all ballot boxes were handed over to all polling stations across Lebanon by 10:00 A.M.

The ministry added that the boxes will be under the supervision of security forces until the start of the elections.
