Winning candidate Ziad Hawat said on Monday that he is committed with the Lebanese Forces in order to achieve all principles that he had previously promised during his electoral campaign, starting from the administrative decentralization and fighting corruption.

Hawat’s comments were made during an interview with LBCI whereby he said that he will work hard in order to build a country worthy of the Lebanese people.

“I will not comment on rumors because Jbeil’s residents are the ones who made their own decision inside the ballot boxes,” he added.

“My hands are extended to everyone to build a country that we dream of,” he concluded by saying.
