Lebanese Democratic Party chief Talal Arslan stressed that “he will not allow anyone to undermine the dignity of the people,” noting that in politics one can speak whatever they want.
“The accusations of murder and the insults are only worthy of whoever launches them,” he stated in a press conference held on Saturday.
Addressing Progressive Socialist Party chief Walid Jumblatt, he said: “I will only respond to you Walid Jumblatt, when someone claiming to be loyal to you speaks unethically,” calling on him to stop the instigator.
Arslan stressed that he lifted the cover off whoever was proven to be involved in the conflict, adding that the judiciary will handle the issue without any media or political pressures.
