Lebanese Forces chief Samir Geagea insists that he could not attend the confrontation session with LBCI chairman Pierre El Daher due to security reasons; but how did he attend previous public events? Was the security situation more controlled than it is at the Justice Palace?
On the 3rd of April 2018, Geagea attended the opening of King Salman Avenue in central Beirut.
He also attended electoral campaigns before the elections of May 6 at the Atlal restaurant, at the house of former President Michel Sleiman in Amchit, in Nahr al-Kalb, Zahle, Hasroun, Plathea in Sahel Alma, Sad al-Bouchrieh, Bsharreh, Batroun, Ghazir, Ain al-Remmaneh and Ashrafieh.
Going back to 2017, Geagea personally inaugurated the cedars summer festivals.
He participated as well in the gathering of the party chiefs in June 22, 2017.
If Geagea was forced to take part in previously scheduled political events such as dialogue sessions, what about him attending parties, the most recent in December 2017?
