REPORT: Employees of two governmental hospitals stage new sit-in

Employees at the President Elias Hrawi governmental hospital in Zahle held on Thursday a sit-in to demand the payment of their delayed salaries.

They said that the hospital’s doors to all patients will be closed, including emergency cases, until their demands are met.

Similarly, employees at the Baalbek governmental hospital held a sit-in, saying that they came in solidarity with their fellow nurse Mohamad al-Hajj who was beaten during Wednesday’s Baabda protest.
