BDL Governor to Aoun: Holding elections had positive impact on financial circles
Governor of Banque Du Liban Riyad Salameh said on Thursday that holding the parliamentary elections had a positive impact in the financial circles.
Salameh’s comments were made during a meeting with President Michel Aoun at the Baabda Presidential Palace.
He also noted that the Lebanese Lira is stable, adding that the BDL preserved its high foreign exchange reserves and registered stable growth of deposits in the banking sector.
