Geagea: Lebanon is on the threshold of better days
Lebanese Forces leader Samir Geagea said on Friday that Lebanon is now on the threshold of better days despite all the regional incidents surrounding it.

During his meeting with a delegation from the town of Beit Mellat in Akkar, Geagea said that the state of insecurity cannot go on “since it will take away the state’s prestige.”

“The government must urge the security and judicial bodies to strike with an iron fist and impose its authority on all sides without any discrimination”, he said.

On another note, Geagea reiterated that the regime of Syrian President Bashar Assad has become isolated and will not last for long, ruling out that the fall of Assad will have negative repercussions on Lebanon.
