Lebanese Forces chief Samir Geagea met in Maarab on Friday with a delegation from the American Task Force for Lebanon, headed by President Edward Gabriel.
During the meeting, the discussions tackled the need to find a solution to the Syrian refugee crisis, the assistance that the United States could provide in this regard, as well as the importance of supporting the Lebanese army and providing it with advanced equipment.
"We also discussed the economic situation and means to encourage American investors to come to Lebanon through some reforms that the Lebanese state must adopt," said Gabriel, describing the meeting with the LF leader as "excellent and constructive".
He finally explained that the ATFL included Americans of Lebanese origin who worked for the improvement and development of Lebanese-American relations.
