The northern city of Tripoli and North Lebanon escaped a health catastrophe, after the State Security Directorate seized around 1200 Kilograms of rotten sheep meat smuggled from Syria.
The smuggling network was arrested in the presence of State Security units and inspectors from the Health Ministry who inspected the meats and confirmed their bad condition and that they were smuggled.
