A new batch of Syrian refugees started leaving the border town of Arsal on Saturday morning, crossing Wadi Hmeid checkpoint towards the mountainous region, the state-run National News Agency reported.
448 refugees are registered with the General Security and are expected to return to the towns of Flita, Ras al-Maara and Hawsh al-Arab in Syria’s al-Qalamoun, where teams from the Red Cross and emergency relief are conducting the logistical procedures and providing the necessary medical care, accompanied by a security convoy from the Lebanese army.
