Within dew months, work is expected to kick off on the project to expand the Jounieh highway, where Lebanese commuters suffer from heavy traffic jams on a daily basis.
The European Investment Bank provided 75 million euros in loans for this project and is expected to oversee its implementation.
The highway will be expanded from Nahr El Kaleb to Tabarja.
