Kanaan to LBCI: we cannot ignore who failed to manage the state’s accounts for 20 years

The Chairman of the parliamentary Finance and Budget Committee MP Ibrahim Kanaan stressed on Sunday the need to present the budget in time, noting that "the logic of not respecting the parliament or the regulatory bodies has taken root in Lebanon after failing to present previous budgets".

Kanaan told Nharkom Said that “we cannot ignore who failed to manage the State’s accounts over more than 20 years”.

Kanaan stressed that the additional spending under the current government is spent to run the state’s affairs. He noted that the deputies of the Finance and Budget Committee are supervising this spending.
