Mahfoud to LBCI: Mikati asked teachers to refrain from correcting official exams

The head of the Teachers Syndicate Nehme Mahfoud held the government responsible for not correcting the official state exams, since it is insisting on not approving the ranks and salary scale. “This matter has been delayed since last September”, Mahfoud said on Sunday.

Mahfoud told Nahrkom Said that PM Najib Mikati asked the teachers to refrain from correcting the official exams until the ranks and salary scale is approved.
Mahfoud noted that the teachers will hold a sit-in on Wednesday to demand their rights.
