High Disciplinary Committee, headed by Judge Marwan Abboud, with Ali Merhi and Mirvat Itani as members, issued a decision to lay off accountant A. A., for altering checks dedicated to a governmental hospital in Beirut by increasing the amount and manipulating the numbers and letters written on the checks.
The modifications reached at time 10 times the original amount of the check, where he used to transfer a small amount to the hospital and keep the rest for him.
