President Aoun meets Bishop Aoudeh
Beirut Greek Orthodox Metropolitan Bishop Elias Aoudeh visited on Monday President Michel Aoun at the Baaba presidential Palace.
Aoudeh voiced hopes that the new government would safeguard the rights of the Greek Orthodox, mainly with the formation of the new Cabinet.
“We wished the president success in his leadership as we always pray for the country in order for the Lebanese people to feel relieved, mainly amid the current economic crisis,” Aoudeh said after the meeting.
