President of Youth of Mary Jean Nacouzi explained in a statement to LBCI the events that faced the Lebanese nationals ahead of boarding the Croatian airlines plane Medugorje to Lebanon.
Nacouzi stressed that all the persons who showed symptoms of vomiting and stomachache were given the appropriate medicine, noting that all of them were released from the hospitals.
He added that he did not know for sure if the symptoms were caused by a virus or sue ot food poisoning, or both.
A Croatian airlines plane, scheduled to transport 161 Lebanese passengers from Medugorje back to Lebanon, failed to take off after some of them experienced symptoms of poisoning, forcing the plane’s pilot to refuse to fly Wednesday at dawn.
