“Beirut Madinati”, in cooperation with residents of a neighborhood in the capital Beirut, managed to launch a project of “sorting and recycling waste” within a period of nine months, with a voluntary effort and without any financial resources.
The quality of the sorting operations is being monitored by representatives from the buildings committees, with the help of civil society associations to ensure sustainable means to deal with the waste management.
