Speaker Nabih Berri said that “the cabinet should have been formed yesterday before today, and today before tomorrow,” adding that “he told Prime Minister-designate Saad Hariri that Amal Movement and Hezbollah will facilitate the formation process.”
“We told him we only want our share, noting that the Development and Liberation Bloc is the third largest,” he stated, saying that he wants the cabinet to be formed before Eid al-Fitr.
Addressing a delegation from the Syndicate of Editors, Berri explained that “the President of the Republic has the right to address a message to the parliament and the speaker has to take the appropriate measure.”
“The security situation is the current highlight,” he said.
