Public sector employees get paid without attending

The issue of public sector employees getting paid without working, or diseased employees continuing to get paid, has become a normal matter at the state’s institutions, including governmental hospitals, ministries and other public administrations.

According to information made available to LBCI, the Central Inspection has been conducting investigations into the performance of several employees at the directorate of the civil regulation affiliated with the Public Works Ministry, following complaints that these employees are almost constantly absent from their desks.
