“Strong Republic” bloc member MP Fadi Saad said Wednesday that everything that’s happening with the cabinet formation process is normal, since in the most developed countries the cabinet can also take time to be formed.
In a statement to LBCI’s Nharkom Said, Saad noted that the cabinet formation must be done exclusively between the president and the prime minister-designate.
He also stressed that the Lebanese Forces party is pressing the formation to take place since the party is seeking to work for the people, while the citizens have been facing many issued.
“After many said that there’s no veto on giving a sovereign portfolio to the Lebanese Forces, it appeared that there is a veto,” he pointed out.
MP Saad stated that the LF has a plan for every ministry given to the party, stressing the economic situation is dangerous, as well as the situation of the currency and the social situation.
On the Maarab agreement, the deputy emphasized that “they are holding on to the agreement and what’s left of it,” revealing that they had differences with the Free Patriotic Movement on their vision in state administration.
He explained that the Lebanese Forces, the Kataeb party and the Future Movement share the same vision towards the state.
