Independent Sunnite MPs from Baabda: One of us must be represented in Cabinet

The Independent Sunnite MPs asserted on Friday that the sole solution for the obstacle hindering the formation of a new Cabinet is by giving one of them a ministerial portfolio.

The lawmakers’ comments were made after meeting with President Michel Aoun at Baabda.

This as MP Abdel Rahim Mrad said that the independent MPs represent 30% of the Sunnites in Lebanon.

“Why does Prime Minister-designate Saad Hariri want to monopolize the Sunnite representation?” he concluded by asking.
