The confiscation of generators whose owners have failed to comply with the decisions of the Economy Ministry continued on Wednesday for the second day.
In this context, the ministry’s inspectors confiscated a generator in the region of Jisr al-Basha in Sin el-Fil owned by Fadi Merhej for installing meters without operating them.
The municipality will take over the generator until the required conditions are met.
For his part, the generator owner objected to the measure, explaining that the meters are working based on the law.
