Wahhab to LBCI: Hezbollah conveyed to Hariri the appropriate position tonight
Tawhid Party leader Wiam Wahhab told LBCI on Saturday that a clash took place between an ISF Information Branch patrol and his supporters in the town of al-Jahiliah.
 
“Who wants to notify someone about a lawsuit doesn’t send hundreds of armed vehicles to do so,” Wahahb said during a phone call with LBCI.
"Hezbollah conveyed to Prime Minister-designate Saad Hariri the appropriate position tonight,” he added.
 
Wahhab also stressed that he “prevented any armed appearances” in the town.
 
He also noted that he did not make any insults against late prime minister Rafic Hariri.

As for State Prosecutor Samir Hammoud, Wahhab dubbed him as a "decent" man who was never involved in bloodshed.

Wahhab stressed that the dignity of al-Moukhtara is of his dignity, voicing rejection to any attack on it.
 
"What happened tonight is over, and appearing before the courts is an honor for every Lebanese national," he added.
 
Wahhab also called on Hariri to "avert bloodshed."
 
Yesterday, State Prosecutor Samir Hammoud dismissed a lawsuit filed by Wahhab against Hariri and accepted another one filed against Wahhab by several lawyers on charges of “inciting strife and upsetting civil peace.”
 
Wahhab had initially filed a lawsuit against Hariri and his supporters for raising street banners insulting him.
 
The banners came after a video surfaced of Wahhab addressing insults against Hariri and his father late prime minister Rafic  Hariri, without naming them.
