Salameh from Baabda: Means available to follow up on implementation of BDL monetary policies

President Michel Aoun received on Monday Banque Du Liban Governor Riyad Salameh at the Baabda Presidential Palace.

Following the meeting, Salameh said that “the means are available to follow up on the implementation of the monetary policies adopted by the BDL which has achieved financial stability in the country."

On another note, Aoun also met with Lazhar Karoui Chebbi, a delegate for Tunisian President Beji Caid Essebsi and received from him Lebanon’s invitation to the Arab League summit that will be held in Tunis in March.

Aoun also held talks with the Lebanese ambassador to Saudi Arabia Fawzi Kabbara with ways of cooperation between the two countries being the focus of the meeting.
