The Council of the Maronite Bishops urged on Wednesday Lebanon's politicians to resolve the political and unpolitical hurdles obstructing the formation of the new government, renewing Patriarch Beshara Rai's call to form a small Cabinet composed of independent experts capable of handle the mission to save the country and face the ongoing challenges.
Following their monthly meeting, the Maronite Bishops voiced concerns over "some practices that are swerving Lebanon's particularity, which is based upon coexistence, mutual respect, and the consecration of the freedom of religion."
