Aoun: We hope to continue our march towards state advancement again

President Michel Aoun lamented on Thursday the fact that Lebanon "had not been able to get rid of the repercussions of teh regional developments on the Lebanese internal situation."

Aoun’s comments were made during his meeting with a visiting delegation of the consular corps in Lebanon.

“We hope that we would be able to overcome the major obstacles and continue our march towards the advancement of the state again,” Aoun said to the delegation.

For his part, the dean of the Honorary Consular Corps in Lebanon Joseph Habis voiced hopes that Lebanon would “overcome all obstacles in order to achieve the aspirations of the Lebanese people through a capable Cabinet.”
