The heavy rains that fell on Sunday afternoon tuned the highway in Batroun into a lake on both direction, near the Electricite Du Liban offices, trapping some vehicles and causing others to malfunction.
The concerned authorities advised the citizens to use the old seaside road instead of the highway.
The municipality worked on removing the water and the rocks that were swept by the rains in order to reopen the road.
