Several question marks were raised regarding the pricing of medications in Lebanon and the differences between the lists of the Public Health Ministry and the Defense Ministry.
Caretaker Health Minister Ghassan Hasbani responded to the issue, declaring the ministry’s commitment to the reduction of medications’ prices during the current year. He stressed that the figures circulating in the media do not represent the figures of the ministry’s tender, but the selling prices set by the pharmacies without the discounts or offers.
