A fire that broke out inside an apartment in Kaslik at midnight, killed 4-year-old boy David Tony Khalil and severely injured his mother and 8-year-old brother Farah, leaving them in critical condition.
The mother was transported to KMC hospital, while the brother to St. Louis hospital and then to Karantina hospital to receive the appropriate treatment.
The father was at his work during the incident.
The fire was caused by a short circuit that occurred in an electric heater.
