Mansour, March 14 delegation tackle arrangements for expats' participation in elections
Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Adnan Mansour, received Tuesday a March 14 delegation comprised of MPs Ahmad Fatfat and Tony Abu Khater, with talks featuring high on the expatriates' voting mechanism.

The delegation insisted on clarifying some of the necessary points to encourage registration in the electoral lists abroad. "It was agreed to add two clauses to the form on which the expatriates' registration will be based, so that those expats be fully reassured," Fatfat confirmed.

"As of today, we consider that there are serious steps to ensure heavy registration," Fatfat added.

Separately, Minister Mansour received from the Ambassador of Sudan Ahmed Hassan Mohammed a copy of his credentials to be later delivered to President Michel Sleiman.
