In his first statement after the cabinet formation, Foreign Minister Gebran Bassil said in an exclusive interview with LBCI that the “Strong Lebanon” bloc has received more than they wanted in the government.
“Unfortunately, in Lebanon we have to set new political facts and should the electoral results were respects, the cabinet would have been formed sooner,” he said.
The minister congratulated the Lebanese people, promising to work on rescuing the country, “because corruption and debt have brought Lebanon to its current state.”
