More than 250 thousand vehicles enter the city of Beirut on a daily basis, creating a traffic issue as well as a difficulty in finding parking spaces.
One of the solutions for his dilemma came from the Municipal Council, after completing studies and terms and conditions booklets to launch 4 tenders to establish parking lot buildings.
The first parking located in Ashrafieh will turn into a several-storey building, with a capacity for 282 vehicles.
The second parking lot located in Cornishe al-Mazraa will be able to park 406 vehicles with floors underground and over the ground.
Another building will be established in Hamra for 476-vehicle capacity.
The last project will be located under the park of Ramlet al-Bayda for 186 vehicles.
