Parliament continues discussing policy statement
The Lebanese Parliament continued on Friday discussions over the Cabinet’s policy statement for the third day.
MP Ali Ammar voiced appreciation of the government's policy statement, saying that “it rises to the level of national responsibility in its best form.”
For his part, MP Alain Aoun said that President Michel Aoun came to power as a result of a “purely political process in which there was no role for any weapon.”
