Qortbawi: I do not understand objections on data issue

Justice Minister Shakib Qortbawi presented on Friday an inventory account for last year’s accomplishments, as well as proposed future projects.

Qortbawi tackled the communications data issue, saying that this matter has legal dimensions. He added that the facts related to this issue include technical information that only professionals are familiar with.

He stressed that the Telecommunications Ministry met the requests of the security apparatuses regarding the data, noting that he does not understand supposed objections on the issue.

On the other hand, Qortbawi hoped that he will be able to overcome the difficulties preventing the appointment of a Chairman for the Supreme Judicial Council, pointing that he is adopting legal measures in those regards.
