Rotten onions seized from a vegetable market in Ferzol

State Security seized on Sunday 2,400 kilograms of rotten Egyptian onions from a vegetable market in the Bekaa town of Ferzol.

The raid was carried out by the Health Ministry accompanied by the security apparatuses.

The raid comes as part of a campaign that aims at inspecting all vegetable markets in Lebanon to ensure the safety of imported and local agricultural products.
