Public Works and Transport Minister Youssef Finianos received Thursday Secretary-General of the Syrian-Lebanese Supreme Council Nasri Khoury and discussed the Lebanese-Syrian relations, as well as the pending matters regarding the land, maritime and aerial transportation sector and the solutions that must be reached to facilitate work, mainly concerning the transit fees and other fees that affect the flow of Lebanese goods through Syria toward the Arab states.
Khouri noted that agreement has been reached for the Secretariat General to draft an agenda for the meeting of the ministerial transport committee, headed by the transport ministers of the two countries, where they will discuss the pending issues.
