Kaouk: armed operations are being launched from Lebanon to Syria on daily basis

Deputy Chairman of the Executive Council of Hezbollah Sheikh Nabil Kaouk said on Sunday that the armed operations launched from Lebanon to Syria on a daily basis, aim at driving the Syrian Army to carry out operations on the Lebanese territory. He noted that this fact is supported by March 14 forces.

Kaouk said that, amid the tense situation on the border, the presence of Syrian militants in Lebanese border towns became an undeniable fact, in the midst of the obstacles created by March 14 to prevent the army from taking full control of the border.

Kaouk expressed his support for the rightful demands of the Syrian people, pointing that “what is currently happening has gone far beyond reforms, to reach a universal war directed by the US and funded by Arab countries”.

On the other hand, Kaouk stressed that no liberation and defense strategy which can be an alternative to the resistance’s strategy, has been presented on the dialogue table.
