Maronite Patriarch Beshara Boutros Rai met Saturday with Energy Minister Nada Boustany, where she briefed him on the ministry’s plan of action for the upcoming stage, mainly amid the challenges faced by the electricity sector.
For his part, the patriarch wished the minister “all the good luck in her new mission”, hoping to reduce the burden off citizens suffering from continuous power cuts.
Rai urged politicians to prioritize the vital daily issues of citizens rather than continuing political disputes.
