At least 370 arrests in May 1 demonstrations in Istanbul: Lawyers' group

At least 370 people were arrested Friday in May 1 demonstrations in Istanbul curbed by a heavy police deployment, a lawyers' association present at the rallies said.

"At 2:00 p.m. (1100 GMT), according to our information, the number of people in custody stands at 370," the CHD association for defending civil rights said on X.
