Mahfouz: If teachers resume correction, results will be issued as of Saturday

Head of Private Schools Teachers Syndicate in Lebanon, Nehmat Mahfouz announced on Thursday that PM Najib Mikati has promised the Union Coordination Committee to approve the pay scale before the end of August.

Mahfouz told Nharkom Said TV show that, in the event that teachers resumed correction of official exams on Thursday, results will be issued as of Saturday and Sunday.

Mahfouz pointed that the Wednesday meeting between the Union Coordination Committee and the expanded ministerial committee agreed on 3 points: approving the pay scale before Eid al-Fitr, compromising on the value of ranks while keeping the scale’s figures unchanged.

Mahfouz reassured that there is a tendency for the UCC to take a positive stance in this regard.
