Finance Minister Ali Hassan Khalil granted the authorization to the Financial Public Prosecution to prosecute 7 employees from the land registry offices of Jounieh and Jbeil, on suspicion of committing a criminal offence.
Financial Public Prosecutor Judge Ali Ibrahim had ordered the arrest of an employee from the Land Registry office of Keserwan and Jbeil, as well as another employee.
The decision of the Financial Public Prosecution to arrest the two employees came after interrogating the Land Registry’s secretary and other employees.
