Minister al-Jarrah: There is no harm from Mansourieh power lines

Minister of Information Jamal al-Jarrah asserted on Wednesday that the security forces are only implementing the decision of the Cabinet regarding the power lines in the town of Mansourieh.

Al-Jarrah’s comments were made from the Grand Serail whereby he noted that the Cabinet asserted its decision to implement the full electricity plan.

He also noted that scientific reports proved that there is no harm from the power lines.

“The Cabinet even offered to buy the residents’ apartments,” he added.

The minister called on the residents not to scuffle with the security forces.

On another note, he stressed that there is a will to complete the draft general Budget on Friday.

“The institution that is most responsive the Cabinet is the Banque du Liban,” he added.

Al-Jarrah also noted that the Cabinet will discuss tomorrow the budgets of all ministries, each one separately.

“The Ministries of Defense and Interior will submit on Friday suggestions to deal with the issues related to the security apparatuses,” he concluded by saying.
