Hbeish calls for action against Syria following Samaha’s confessions

Lebanon First bloc MP Hadi Hbeish stressed on Saturday that the Lebanese state has a great responsibility towards its people after former Minister Michel Samaha’s confession that “a conspiracy was plotted against Lebanon”.

In a statement to Nharkom Said TV show, Hbeish called on the cabinet to hold an extraordinary session to take appropriate measures against those who tasked Samaha with carrying out “terrorist attacks”, in reference to Syria.

Hbeish confirmed that Maronite Patriarch Beshara Rai’s visit to Akkar is still on.
