Defense Minister Elias Bou Saab told LBCI that the Lebanese Armed Forces are heavily deployed in the Mountain, stressing that what happened should not be underrated. He called for the restoration of calm and for the judicial procedures to take their course.
Bou Saab explained that Minister Gebran Bassil had cancelled the rest of his tour to Aley and his visit to Kfarmatta, following reports stated that roads were blocked by protesters in the region.
