Future bloc: cabinet drafted electoral law according to “Hezbollah’s size”
The Future bloc stressed that it is continuing its discussions with President Michel Sleiman and March 14 regarding the national dialogue, noting that the dialogue should be based on basic principles including the arms issue, otherwise, it will remain a formal dialogue.

Following its weekly meeting the Future bloc stated that the 2009 electoral law was adopted upon the request of head of Change and Reform bloc MP Michel Aoun and with the agreement of Hezbollah. The bloc noted that the cabinet drafted the recent electoral law according to “Hezbollah’s size” in order to dominate Lebanon.

In its final statement, the bloc considered that the “horrible crime that was being planned for Lebanon and that was uncovered following the arrest of former Minister Michel Samaha, is the worst conspiracy against Lebanon since the assassination of late PM Rafik Hariri and aims at creating strives between the Lebanese people”. The bloc called on the cabinet to suspend the work by the defense and security accord between Lebanon and Syria.
