A number of young men staged a peaceful sit-in at Abdel Hamid Karami Square in Tripoli, to protest against the visit of Foreign Minister Gebran Bassil to the city, amid heavy deployment of Lebanese army and security forces in the region, the state-run National News Agency reported on Saturday.
The protesters then moved to Al-Nini roundabout, meters away from Rashid Karami exhibition center, where they staged their sit-in, also amid security deployment, to voice their rejection to the visit.
