President Michel Aoun said Wednesday that Lebanon regrets the US sanctions targeting Lebanese nationals, including two elected MPs, adding that he will follow the matter with US authorities.
He stressed that this measure that recurs from time to time contradicts previous US stances stressing the commitment of Lebanon and its banking sector to the international agreements related to fighting money laundering.
