MP Jamil al-Sayyed stressed Monday that the issue of “Touch” building is a scandal, noting that the acquisition of buildings must be done outside of the capital.
“The telecom minister can spend funds with his own signature, but this spending is subject to censorship and the lease is not allowed as it was done,” he said.
In a press conference held at the Parliament, al-Sayyed noted that the issue has come out in public and is now being discussed by ministers, deputies and judges, pointing out that no personal agendas are involved in this subject.
