Jreissati: Waste crisis is more important than economic crisis
Minister of Environment Fadi Jreissati said on Tuesday that the waste crisis in the country is more important than the economic crisis.
 
“We are in a state of emergency because the situation is unbearable,” Jreissati said following a meeting with the environment committee.
 
“I don’t know what is hindering the discussion of the plan that I suggested it in the Cabinet,” he stressed.
 
Jreissati also noted that there will be no economy, tourism, health nor agriculture without finding a solution for the waste crisis.
