Rai from Beiteddine: Defense strategy is essential in Lebanon
Maronite Patriarch Bechara Rai said on Wednesday that President Michel Aoun’s move to the summer presidential residence in Beiteddine created “a good atmosphere.”
 
Rai’s comments were made after meeting with Aoun in Beiteddine whereby he noted that talks tackled the economic situation.
“President Aoun stressed that the Cabinet will tackle this issue,” he added.
 
As for article 95, Rai noted that “this article does not scare but gives a guarantee to all people.”

He concluded by saying that the defense strategy is essential and must happen, adding that it is a vital necessity in Lebanon.
